Intranet Journal just published a great byline by Neil McElwee, the senior product marketing manager for WebEx WebOffice. In the piece, Neil identifies the different use cases for web-based office applications and then outlines the collaborative capabilities users traditionally find most useful. It’s a great follow-on from last week’s video from ZDNet journalist David Berlind (David has now left ZDNet for CMP. He’s a great journalist/interviewer and we wish him well with his new opportunity). In this piece, executives from on-demand collaboration leaders WebEx, Google and Zoho (a WebEx Connect partner) address Microsoft’s ad-based Office Live Workspace product and the different vectors each company is taking in regards to personal productivity and team collaboration.
